Who We Are
NCAR actively advocates for children's right to secure attachment and supports prevention models that enhance relational synchrony across individuals, parent-child dyads, couples, and families. We want to be who we are, it's the nature of the Spirit.
The Newton Center for Affect Regulation (NCAR) is a for-profit organization dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of parent-infant dyads, children, adults, couples, and families of all ages. Its mission is to promote emotional security, growth, and well-being for individuals and families. NCAR specializes in the application of developmental neuroscience, with a focus on brain entrainment during infancy and its long-term impact on emotional regulation.
Therapeutic services are delivered by clinicians trained in Integrative Regulation Therapy (iRT), an evidence-informed, brain-based approach that enhances psychodynamic therapies by fostering relational attunement and emotional regulation. NCAR actively trains licensed and license-eligible clinicians in iRT and provides monthly case conferencing and study groups for on-going support for mental health clinicians.
